The goal of the Economic Restructuring Committee is to support Staunton Main Street, USA by strengthening the downtown's economic base.

To accomplish this goal, the Economic Restructuring Committee will focus on the following objectives:

1. Gather and analyze market information about downtown.

2. Find ways to strengthen existing businesses.

3. Identify opportunities for expansion of existing businesses.

4. Find new economic uses for Main Street properties.

5. Recruit new businesses.

6. Monitor economic performance of downtown.
