• Policies

  Materials are checked out on a two-week basis, except for video and DVD movies, which are checked out for one week.

   

  Materials may be renewed for additional time either by bringing the materials to the library or by phoning the library.  The librarian reserves the right to refuse to renew materials.

   

  Anyone having unresolved, overdue materials or fines forfeits their library privileges until the matter is resolved.

   

  FINES:        10¢ per day on each item, except movies, which are $1.00 per day each.       

              All lost or damaged materials must be paid for at cost plus $5.00

  Reference and genealogy materials for in house use

  Microfilm printer available

  Inter-Library Loan materials through Lewis & Clark Library System.

  We are an online library with access to all online library collections in the State of Illinois

  Free internet service to the public

  Printer copies 10¢ per page

  Photocopies 20¢ per page

• Library Card Requirements

  Two forms of identifications to show city or non-city residence

   

  Non-Residents may purchase a library card for $30.00 for the family for one year.

• Reading Programs

  1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Grade story time -    1^st Thursday of the month

              (story time, crafts, songs)    3:30pm

   

  Pre-K and Kindergarten story time - 3^rd Thursday of the month                                                   3:00pm

   

  7^th & 8^th Grade Young Adult Club - 2^nd & 4^th Wednesday of the month                                             4:00pm
