Boat permits are required for boat access the the Staunton Lake and can be obtained at:

City Hall

(available 24 hours-a-day)

Resident Fees

Non-Motorized $10.00
Motorized (unlimited h.p.) $20.00

Non-Resident Fees (not in city limits)

Non-Motorized $20.00
Motorized (unlimited h.p.) $30.00

Use of gas operated unlimited horsepowered boats are permitted as long as they are operated in a manner to create a no-wake lake.

STAUNTON LAKE GUIDELINES

No fires

No camping

No swimming or bathing

No jet ski or recreational vehicles on lake

No glass containers

No firearms (except for waterfowl hunting)



Penalties for violations at the Staunton Lake and Property are subject to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $750 per violation.


Fish Limits (State Game & Fish Code Adopted)

Large Mouth Bass (15" length) 3/day
Channel Catfish (no length) 6/day

Pole and Line Fishing ONLY - Limit 2 poles/no more than 2 hooks per line

NO TROUT LINES - BANK LINES - JUG LINES
